Biography

Marian Ardagh was born in Ireland in 1839, the daughter of Rev Samuel Browne Ardagh, Rector of Barrie, and his wife Martha Anderson. ^[1]

On 9 Oct 1867, in St. Martin in the Fields, Westminster, she married Edward Charles Foster. ^[2] Edward Foster died in 1876. ^[3]

She married 2) Henry Strathy in 1878.^[4]

In 1881 she was living in Barrie with her husband, four children from Henry's first marriage, a newborn son Gerard Strathy, and a servant. ^[5]

Marion Strathy died in Toronto 1928.^[1]
