Ann and her husband George emigrated from England to New Zealand with three of their children. They travelled on the Ship Sussex, departing from London on 16 April 1874 and arriving into Port Chalmers on 17 July 1874.^[3]

She passed away in New Zealand in 1915 at the age of 83.
