Bobby was born in 1942. He was the son of Joseph Ardis and Amber McLeod. He passed away in 1992.
Hospital after a short illness. He was born in Sumter, S.C., and lived in Port Wentworth for the past 24 years. He was a carpenter and the skipper of the Marine Rescue Squadron in Port Wentworth.
Surviving are his wife, Jean C. Ardis of Port Wentworth; two daughters, Donna A. Kendrick and Kimberly Ardis, both of Port Wentworth; three brothers, Buddy, J.T. and Bill Ardis, all of Sumter; three sisters, Liz Avins, Hallie McCleod and Barbara Martin, all of Sumter; and several nieces and nephews.
