Charles-Eugène-Léon, 2nd sovereign duke of Arenberg and 8th duke of Aarschot, was a knight of the Order of the Golden Fleece, Grand-Bailiff and Captain-General of Hainaut.
Born on May 8, 1633 in Brussels, he was the son of Philippe-Charles d'Arenberg and Marie-Cleopha de Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen.
