Lieutenant Benjamin Arendell served with South Carolina Militia during the American Revolution.

Benjamin Arendell's birthdate 1722 is approximate based on the fact that Benjamin and his two brothers John and Thomas appear on the muster tools in Granville, North Carolina in 1754. By 1784 his will was probated in the old ninety-sixth district of Carolina near what is now Spartanburg, South Carolina. His wife Rebecca and oldest son John were the administrators. The DAR lists his birth as abt. 1735 in Virginia.

Benjamin Arendell was a Lieutenant with Col. Thomas Taylor in the South Carolina Militia. [1]
