Biography

The early years

George Arends was born about 1846 in Germany to John Arends and Madge Johnson[1]

Family Life

He would marry Hannah Haffa on the 24th of November 1906 in Black Hawk, Iowa[1] and it is not believed they had any children.

Through the years

In 1920[2] he confirmed he was born about 1840 in Germany and was 80 years old, at the time he was living in Black Hawk, Iowa and in the home were George, Hannah, and Hannahs 2 daughers Elizabeth Shade and Sally Carson. He owned the home mortgage free and was able to read and write.

Death

He died May 20, 1920[3], likely in Iowa.
