Constance Jean (Arentz) McIntyre (1924 - 2001)

Biography

Constance, daughter of Benjamin and Thecla Arentz, was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on May 20, 1924. She had at least three siblings.^[1][2] When she grew up she lived for some time in Racine, Wisconsin and worked as a file clerk.^[3] Constance married her first husband, Edwin Hegforce on 29 December 1951.^[4] They divorced at some point before 1962.

Constance (age 39) married her second husband, Nathaniel McIntyre, on November 30, 1963 in Pendleton, Indiana.^[5] They stayed together until his death in 1994. She was a very active member of the Church of the Holy Cross in Tryon, NC where she lived. She was Directress of the Alter Guild and volunteered at St Luke's Hospital Auxiliary She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Greenville, SC Chapter 375 and the Tryon, NC Shrine Auxiliary.^[6] Constance died (age 77) on December 24, 2001 in Tryon, North Carolina.^[7][8][6][9]
