MOTHER ANNOUNCES DAUGHTER's WEDDING.
Of interest to some local residents is announcement of the marriage of Miss Barbara Frances Argall, daughter of Mrs Frances Sedgwick Argall of Beverly Hills, Calif. to Wallace Patterson, son of Mrs Eugene Patterson of Santa Barbara, made by the bride's mother. The wedding was solemnized in the home of Mrs John Barnes Milliken in Beverly Hills by the Rev. James Hamilton Lash of the Hollywood Congregational Church. The bride, who was given in marriage by her mother, was attended by Miss Evelyn Petty, as made of hopnor. John Williams of Santa Barbara was the best man. The bride's mother will be remembered as a frequent visitor here during her girlhood at the home of her grandparents, the late Mr and Mrs Edward Dean Nelson. Mr Nelson was president of the First National bank for many years and president of the Twin Cities General Electric Railway company.

Woodstock, Nov. 5th - Mrs Barbara Patterson, daughter of Mrs Frances S Argall of Beverly Hills, Calif., and the late Mr Argall, was united in mariage to Jean Barrere of Woodstock and New York City, Sunday at 4 p.m. at the home of Mr and Mrs Houston Richards, Glasco Turnpike, Woodstock. Mr Barere is the son of Madame Barrere and the late Mr Georges Barrere, famous flutest, who made their home in Woodstock. The Rev. Harvey I Todd, pastor of the Dutch Reformed Church, performed the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by Robert Whitehead, producer of the successful Broadway play 'Medea'. She wore a black dres with orchids. Her Matron of Honor was Mrs John Cleveland of Woodstock. The best man was John Drew Devereaux, grandson of the famous actor, and first Clarence, Jr., in the original cast of "Life with Father". A small reception was held imediately following the ceremony at the Richards' home, and later dinner was served at the White Horse Inn, Woodstock. Guests were Madame Barrere, Don McHenry of the Woodstock Playhouse Players and who is now in the cast of "Medea"; Robert Whitehead , and Oliver Rea, producers of "Medea;"Mr and Mrs John Raby of New York city; Mrs Crestes Cleveland, Mrs John Cleveland, Mrs Eleanor Lamb, Mrs Leo Herbert, Woodstock. The bride attended school in California. Mr Barrere is stage director of "Medea" and was a member of the original cast of "Life with Father". He has also been seen at the Woodstock Playhouse. Mr Barrere is a graduate of Peekskill Military Acadamy and served five years in the Army Signal Corps and overseas in Europe. He received the Croix de Guerre. Mr and Mrs Barrere will live in New York in the winter months.
Travelled on PanAm flight 115/04 from Paris to New York on 4 July 1955 with her husband.
