MARRIAGE: Louisa was married for the first time at the age of 42, but she was Joseph's second wife. They married in St. Paul's parish church of Hammersmith according to the rites of the established church by Licence, by Rev. W J Weekes (#5011) in the presence of H K Argall (brother), Caroline E Argall (sister), and Emily H B Weekes (#5010). The marriage is recoirded in the GRO indexes for the Kensington Registration District in the September quarter of 1873 under reference 1a 79. The couple are listed as Joseph Ivimey and Louisa Harriet Argall.

H Hayman, curate of St Paul's, J Ivimy, Esq., of Ampthill Square, to Louisa Harriet, daughter of the late H E Argall, of Hammersmith.

She never had children. She took over her husband's house on his death and eventually lived there with her sister-in-law, Georgina.

DEATH: Her death is recorded in the GRO indexes for the Lymington Registration District in the June quarter of 1921 under reference 2b 684. Her name is recorded as Louisa H Ivimey; her age is recorded as 89.
