Biography

CENSUS INFORMATION: In the 1881 UK Census, she is listed as Caroline M Argall, aged 6, living with her father and sister in Finchley, London. (RG11/1371, Folio 92, Page 21).
In the 1891 UK Census, she is listed as aged 16 living with her father, Aunt, sister, a visitor and servants at the Priory in the Civil Parish of Whitchurch, Devon. Ecclesiastical. Parish: St Andrew. (RG12/1750 Folio 120, Page 2).
In the 1901 UK Census, she is listed as living in Whitchurch parish, Devon, as aged 26, born in Ealing, Middlesex, living with her father and Aunt. (RG13/2118, Folio 44, Page 8).
In the 1911 UK Census, she is listed as Caroline M Argall, a single spinster aged 36. She is joint head of Household born in Ealing, and living with her sister, an Aunt, a cook and a housekeeper, at 2 Broadpark Villas, Whitchurch, Tavistock, Devon. (Schedule No. 46).
The 1939 Register was taken on 29 September 1939, and no UK census was taken in 1941, so it provides the most complete survey of the population of England and Wales between 1921 and 1951.
