Costachi "John" Argint (aka Argintaru) was born February 15, 1893 in Coritza, Turkey (Albania) according to his naturalization papers, Declaration of Intensions. He arrived October 11, 1907 in New York, New York from Havre, France, on the "La Goscogncy". He was naturalized on March 4, 1918 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was single and 25 years of age.
