William was residing at Ottawa and Maude was residing at Carp. Both William and Maude were members of the United Church. William was a merchant.[3]

On February 13, 1979, William, age 74 years, passed away at his home at Carleton Place, Lanark County, Ontario.[4]
On February 15, 1979, William was buried in Stittsville United Church Cemetery in Stittsville, Ottawa.[4]
