Biography

Leo was born on 21st Jan 1880 at Yass, New South Wales, Australia, daughter of Elizabeth Mccarthy.^{[1] [2]}

On 13/03/1884, at 4 years of age, he was released from Randwick Asylum for Destitute Children^[3]

He married Kathleen Nugent in 1914 at Mosman.^[4]

He passed away on July 23, 1954 at his residence, 5 Meriton Street Gladesville, husband of Kathleen Aria and father of Leo Laurie and Frank aged 74 years.^[5][6]

He was buried on 24 Jul 1954 with Francis Cashman in Field of Mars Catholic Cemetery, Section A, 643. His was Kathleen was buried later in 1961.^[7]
