Biography

Ryan Benjamin Ariwite, a 36-year-old resident of Fort Hall, Idaho, passed away on August 15 at Lakewood Hospital in Bountiful, Utah. Born on September 24, 1984, in Pocatello, Idaho, Ryan was the son of Roderick and Rose Marie (Alvarez) Ariwite. During his formative years, Ryan attended schools in Blackfoot, Idaho, and in 2002, he successfully completed his education at Blackfoot High School.

While Ryan had various interests in life, his greatest passion lay in being a loving and devoted father to his children. He took immense pride in his children and would frequently discuss them whenever the opportunity arose, finding immense joy and happiness in doing so. Furthermore, Ryan also played the role of a supportive uncle, stepping up to assist his sister's children whenever the need arose. He would regularly visit his sister in Pocatello, accompanied by his nieces and nephew. At the time of his passing, Ryan had been employed at the Shoshone Bannock Casino for over 15 years, serving as a Cage Supervisor. During his tenure, he formed numerous strong friendships and thoroughly enjoyed his work, often remarking that there was never a dull moment.

Among his other passions, Ryan had an unwavering love for riding his Indian motorcycle. He relished the camaraderie that came with riding alongside his fellow motorcycle enthusiasts throughout the year. Riding provided him with excitement, tranquility, and a sense of fulfillment. It was the simple pleasures in life that brought him the most joy and contentment. Ryan could often be found watching football and other sporting events with his father, engaging in playful banter with his mother, and playing video games with his children. He also enjoyed throwing darts with his friends and occasionally indulging in a round of golf with his sister. Although Ryan may not have been the most skilled golfer, he cherished the opportunity to spend time with his loved ones. Many of our fondest memories of Ryan involve his lighthearted and playful nature. He was renowned for his quick wit, infectious laughter, and unwavering friendship. Ultimately, there was very little Ryan wouldn't do for those he held dear.

Ryan Benjamin Ariwite is survived by his immediate family members, including his parents Roderick and Rose Marie Ariwite, his sister Rachael Lynne Ariwite (married to Adam Goede), and his brothers Johnathan Loyd Ariwite and Roderick Kel Ariwite.
