Biography
Harry was born about 1825.
Marriage. On 25th December, 1848, Harry Arkcoll married Rosanna Osborne at St. Nicholas, Brighton, Sussex, England [1]
Emigration to Australia. By 1855, Harry and Rosanna were in the Colony of Victoria for, in that year, they registered the death of an infant in Ballarat. The baby, William, lived for just two weeks. It's likely that Harry ventured to Australia because of the gold rushes. [2]
Death. According to a stone at the Seymour Pioneer Park, Seymour, Victoria, Harry passed away 18th June, 1901, aged 75 years. [3]

- Mr. Harry Arkcol, an old resident of Seymour, died on Monday. He was in active service in the American and Maori wars, and was in receipt of a pension from the United States Government. He was 74 years of age, and leaves an invalid widow, two sons, and two daughters. [4]
