Mary Catherine Arledge was born about 1845 in Harris County, Georgia. Mary was the daughter of Samuel L. Arledge and Nancy Hardin.
Mary C., age 6, appears in the 1850 Federal census in the household of her father Samuel L. Arledge in Tallapoosa County, Alabama.[1]
