Elizabeth Arms was the last child of William and Joanna (Hawks) Arms. She was born at Deerfield, Massachusetts, in 1695.
She married Ebenezer Field at Deerfield, and they settled in Northfield by 1719 or 1720. Tradition holds that Ebenezer died after being mistaken for an Indian and shot by a sentry in 1723.
Ebenezer Field, Jr., born 15 Jun 1715 at Deerfield; tavern keeper; married (1) Sarah Mattoon, then (2) Christian, Paul Field's widow , who left Ebenezer because of his unchristian treatment, and finally (3) Mrs. Abigail Chapin, whom he married while his second wife, Christian, was still living; Ebenezer died 12 Aug 1800 or 1801.[3]
Joanna Field, born 6 Apr 1717 at Deerfield, married Phineas Wright about 1737; died 11 Apr 1798.
Moses Field, born 19 Feb 1718/19 at Deerfield; wolf trapper; married (1) Ann Dickinson, (2) Martha Root; he died 22 or 27 Nov 1787.[3][2]
Aaron Field, born 17 Mar 1721/22 at Northfield; married Eunice Frary.
Elizabeth Field, born 3 Jan 1722/23 at Northfield; married Ebenezer Wells of Deerfield on 14 Feb 1745; died 17 May 1785.
Elizabeth became the first female schoolteacher in Northfield.[4]
She married second, Azariah Wright, January 27, 1726/27 at Northfield, and their marriage lasted almost fifty years.[5]

Eldad Wright, born 19 Apr 1729; died 16 Mar 1731/32.
Lucy Wright, born 2 Mar 1730/31; died 29 Oct 1736.
Eldad Wright, born 16 Mar 1731/32; died 9 Jan 1732/33.
Eldad Wright, born 9 Jan 1732/33; captain in American Revolution; married (1) Anne Taylor, then (2) Eunice Bardwell; removed to Winchester; died 31 Oct 1822.[6]
Medad Wright, born 27 Dec 1734; married Irene Holton on 22 Jun 1762; removed to Vermont.
Azubah Wright, born 26 May 1736; married Thomas Alexander in 1754.
Azariah Wright, Jr., born 7 Mar 1737/38; removed to Vermont; achieved rank of captain; died 27 Aug 1811.
Abner Wright (twin), born 29 Oct 1740; married Anna Elmer; died 1 Jul 1809.[6]
Elizabeth died "in a fit" 1 Oct 1772; Azariah died 16 days later, on the 17th.[5]
