Roland Frank Arms was born at Prairie du Chien General Hospital on May 27, 1953 at 05:35 AM. According to my father, it was a bright sunny day. An interesting note is that I was a difficult birth with the doctor needing to use forceps which left a small scar by my left eye. The doctor also failed to sign my birth certificate, an oversight that was rectified many years later when I was being treated for a minor injury to my toe.
