Biography

Edwin Ormiston Armstrong was born in Newcastle in 1896.

In 1901 Eddie was with his parents William and Julia, and his brothers in South Gosforth, Northumberland. [1]

In 1911 he was living in Knaresborough, Yorkshire with his sister Eliza and her husband William Todd. [2]

Edwin served in World War I with the West Yorkshire Regiment. [3]

Edwin married Florence Irene Chatterton in Knaresborough in 1922. [4]

Edwin died in 1931. [5][6]
