When Eudora 'Dora' L Armstrong was born on July 7, 1898, in Alabama, her father, Thomas, was 23, and her mother, Georgia, was 22. She married Adolphus R Moncrief on April 16, 1948, in Jefferson, Alabama;[1] they divorced in November of 1957.[2] She died on November 25, 1982, in Verbena, Alabama,[3] at the age of 84, and was buried in Birmingham, Alabama.[4]
