Ann was born on 5 August 1728 in Edinburg, Midlothian, Scotland. She was the daughter of James Armstrong and Hannah (Rogers) Armstrong.^[1][2]

Ann was baptized on an unknown date in Edinburgh Parish, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.^[2]

When Ann was about 15 she married Peter Cassity in 1744.^[3]

Ann died at the age of 63 on 7 September 1791 in Randolph, Charlotte, Virginia.^[4][5]
