Biography
Thomas was born in 1854. He is the son of Thomas Armstrong and Elizabeth Wilson.
During the 1861 census the Armstrong Family were living in North Shields and there were mother father and six children Ralph, Clement was 25 at this time and a Blacksiths Apprentice, Margaret, Thomas was 7 years in1861, Jane and James.[1]
The Armstrong family were living in North Shields during the 1871 census. [4] There was Thomas b. 1821 North Shields. Occupation Waterman. Elizabeth b. 1826 North Shields Thomas b.1854 North Shield.s Occupation waterman Jane b. 1856 North Shields. Occupation Dressmaker James b. 1860 North Shields Elizabeth b. 1864 North Shields
