Robert was born after 1925. He is the son of Harry Armstrong and Viola Gibbons. [1]

With sadness, we announce Bob's peaceful passing following a brief stay in hospital. He is survived by his loving wife and caregiver Barbara and his children Jim, Sue (Barbara), Nancy Gibson (Mike) and his brother Jim (Mary) and sister in law Eve. Bobby was the proud Grampy to James, Kennedy, Brock Gibson (Jenna) and Ryan Gibson (Katie). He is predeceased by his parents Harry and Viola Armstrong nee Gibbons and his dear older brother Os (Eve). Bob was a devoted family man, an avid outdoorsman and member of Shawandagooze Fish and Hunt Club, a long time Ottawa South Kiwanian and 40 year employee of the Ottawa Citizen.
