Biography

Joseph was born in 1898. He was the son of Walter Armstrong and Mary Dalton.

He died of wounds at Ypres, Flanders 12 Aug 1917 [1], and name appears on Menin Gate Memorial [2]

1st Bn. Border Regiment; son of Walter and Mary Frances Armstrong of Aspatria
