My brother Peter started our family tree, since retirement I have spent time reviewing, updating and following my wifes family.
Especially as I found a common name in her's and my family went back 2-300 years and did not find a common link. I had to complete a small family tree for my granddaughter to take to school to show her link with the Mauri's on Stewart Island, New Zealand. Found some anomolies that with help I'm trying to correct. On myHeritage completed a Family Statistics report, found things like person born in 1700s born but not deceased, very young children becomig parents, one couple actually got married at 250 so this has driven me to correct our present tree history. At Feb 2022 I do not yet have my DNA results
