Peter was born in 1831. Peter Armstrong ... He passed away in 1914. [1]
Lars Petter Hammarström was listed as a sailor in the household books of Lärbro parish 1852-1861. There is 3 more children listed with his father Lars Hammarström and his wife Stina Helena, Anna Hedda born 1839, Niclas Conrad born 1843 and Maria Catharina born 1834. [2]
There is also a Johan Hammarström listed as sailor apart from the family and he might be a brother, they are born in the same parish 7 years apart. [3]
The name Armstrong is presumably a name he took as a sailor, there is no mention of it as a family name, he was born Hammarström.
