Biography
Elizabeth Ann Armstrong was eldest of the 12 children of Sarah Collins and Charles Edward Armstrong.
On her mother's death and father's remarriage, Elizabeth age 30 years answered an advertisement for a cook required by the Commercial Hotel Quambatook.
She was successful applicant and 1 year later married the owner Robert Johannson (Johnson).
Elizabeth was the second wife of Robert Johannson Johnson, a widower.
His first wife Martha Pitcher passed away in Boort Victoria.
Robert & Elizabeth Johnson had a happy marriage and had three children, Annie, Mary & Robert Charles.
