Thomas Alexander Armstrong (b. 1718, d. 25 Sep 1783) Thomas Alexander Armstrong (son of John Armstrong) was born 1718 in Donagheady, Tyrone, Ireland, and died 25 Sep 1783 in Northumberland, Pennsylvania. He married (2) Anna MAGDELENA on 1766. He married (1) Jane Hamilton on 1749 in Londonderry, Londonderry, Ulster, Ireland, daughter of James Michael Hamilton and Julia Anne Skipton.
Brought his family to America in about 1735 [?]. They settled in Northumberland County, PA where he died 25 SEP 1783. Family records state, Jane Hamilton Armstrong died while her children were still young, The last child was born about 1761. The family was still in New Jersey in 1766. Thomas remarried Anna Magdelena
