On 20 Jan 1808, Robert Armstrong of ?town of Vernon county of Ontario? [later became Benton twp] sold land for $400 to Alexander Armstrong of Seneca Town, Ontario Co. This land was adjoining John McLean?s. This Robert has not been found in other records, including censuses, and may have been a brother.

Assuming this was the same man, he served on jury deed several times from various towns.
