Biography

Ethan was born in 1839 in Ohio. He was the first-born child of John McIntire Armstrong and Lucy Bigelow. [1][2]

Ethan served in the U.S. Army Band during the Civil War. [3] [4]

Ethan married Evangeline Davies in 1894, in Howell, Missouri. [5]

Ethan and Evangeline had one child, Ethan Marion Armstrong, who was born in Kanas in 1896. [6][7]

Ethan M. Armstrong died two years later in 1898. He is buried in Quindaro Cemetery in Wyandotte County, Kansas.
