Jane Armstrong was born in Highland County, Virginia, on November 2, 1787. She was the daughter of John Morgan Armstrong and Agnes Nancy Ervine,[1]
She was married in Highland County about 1808 to Joseph Hiner, son of John Hiner and Magdalene Burner,[1][2]
They made their home in Pendleton County for many years.[3]
Jane passed away in Pendleton County on August 29, 1858, She was buried in the Armstrong Hiner Family Cemetery, in Doe Hill, Highland County, Virginia,[1][4]
