Biography

Mrs. William Henning, 85, longtime Waterloo resident, died Saturday after a long illness.

The former Elizabeth Arndt was born in the town of Lake Mills and was married in 1917 to Mr. Henning. They farmed in the town of York until retiring to Waterloo in 1957. He predeceased her.

Surviving are four sons; Harry and Elmer of Waterloo, William of Beaver Dam and Robert of Marshall; a brother, Gus Arndt rural Cambridge; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Stockfish of Cambridge, and Mrs. Emil Pistorius, of Lake Mills; 18 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
