OTTO ARNDT SR.
Otto Arndt Sr., 78, Brillion, died Nov. 9 at Sheboygan Memorial hospital where he had been take the previous Saturday after suffering a heart attack at his home. [services not transcribed]
Mr. Arndt was born April 7, 1876 at Hilbert, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Arndt. On July 15, 1902, he married Marie Dix. They resided at Hilbert where he operated a blacksmith shop until 28 years ago when they moved to Brillion.
He served several years as the Brillion village assessor and was an honorary member of the Brillion volunteer fire department. He was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran church at Brillion.
Surviving are his wife, two sons, Louis of Sheboygan, and Otto Jr., of Brillion, a daughter, Mrs. Harry Martins, of Sheboygan; a brother, Bernard of Milwaukee; five grandchildren and a great grandchild.
