Edward was born in 1871 to Samuel Arner (1816-1890) and Mary Ann (Bartholomew) Arner (1848-1939),

When he was 9, Edward was listed In the 1880 census with his family in Rimersburg, Clarion, Pennsylvania, United States.[1]

Edward was buried in Rimersburg Cemetery, Rimersburg, Clarion County, Pennsylvania, United States next to his wife. [2]He has many family members at rest within the same cemetery.
