Lucy was born in 1796 in Surry County, North Carolina to Johan Heinrich and Maria Magdalena (Volck) Arney.[1]
She married Frederick Hauser on 19 February 1816 in Stokes County, North Carolina.[2]
By 1850, Frederic and Lucy have moved to Jefferson Township, Owen County, Indiana. Three of their children are living in their household -- Lawrence H., their oldest son; Anna, their 7th child; and George, their 8th child. Also in the household are grandchildren Mary J, age 6, and Katharine, age 4. They are Lawrence's children by his first wife Rebecca, who died in 1840.[3]
Research Notes
Record from the Moravian Archives which cites the Bethania and Bethabara Church Registers does not include mention of Lucinda as a child for Henry and Mary. I've set that relationship status to "uncertain" until more research can be done. -- Fiscus-32 17:12, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
