Lydia (Arnold) Jenks aka Jenkes was born Jan 8, 1702 or 1703 in Warwick Rhode Island. She was the daughter of Israel Arnold and Elizabeth (Smith) Arnold. She married Nathaniel Jenks. Together, they were the parents of Martha (Jenks) Scott, Stephen Jenks, and Lydia (Jenks) Brown. She passed away in 1729.

She was not the Lydia Arnold who was a daughter and one of five children of Eleazer Arnold Jr and Sarah Hawkins Arnold of Providence. Eleazer Arnold was an active member of the Society of Friends.
