Biography

Eudocia (Arnold) Melton was born in Appalachia, in Virginia.

Eudocia was born in 1858.^[1] She eloped with Stephen D. Melton in 1878, and they had three children. She passed away in 1934.

Stephen and Eudocia Melton were enumerated twice in the 1910 US Census. On 30 Apr 1910 they were visiting their daughter Mary Elizabeth Melton Arnold in Tennessee, and on 6 May 1910, they were visiting their daughter Martha Virginia (Jennie) Melton Brooks, in Virginia.
