William Arnold was born in about 1834 in Prescot, Lancashire. He was the son of William and Ann Arnold.
By June 6th 1841, the family was living in Catchey Moss, Eccleston; William's father was an agricultural labourer.
By March 30th 1851, William was a butcher's boy in the household of butcher Francis Ellin in Falkner Street, Liverpool.
William married Elizabeth Blaylock on 26 Jun 1859 at the church of St John the Baptist in Liverpool, Lancashire. He was 25, she was 20; neither had been married before. Their fathers were named as William Arnold and Charles Blaylock.
Their daughter Elizabeth Jane was born in 1860 in Toxteth Park, Lancashire.[1]
Their son William was born in 1862 in Toxteth Park, Lancashire.[2]
Their son Charles Henry was born in 1864 in Toxteth Park, Lancashire.[3]
Their daughter Emma was born in about 1867 in Toxteth Park, Lancashire.[4]
