Are there any vital records confirming Abigail's birth and parentage is correct? I've come across a birth record in Mansfield, Connecticut, where Abigail married John Porter, which is dated 22 December 1710 and names her parents as John and Elizabeth Arnold, rather than Jonathan. Is it possible that Abigail dau. Jonathan from Haddam is a different person to the Abigail who married John Porter in Mansfield?
