DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Benedict by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA test-takers in his direct paternal line.
Mitochondrial DNA test-takers in the direct maternal line:

The Benedict Arnold at https://sarpatriots.sar.org/patriot/display/342531 could be a different person since the spouse, " Elizabeth Andrews," is different from Lydia Weaver. Was one of these two women a second wife? Is Lydia Weaver the wrong spouse? I think more research needs to be done.
