Rollingstone, Minn. Ray Arnold, 55, Westby, Wis., former Rollingstone resident, died of an apparent heart attack Monday. He was manager of streets and utilities at Westby.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Arnoldy, he was born at Rollingstone, Sept. 16, 1918. On April 12, 1943, he married Sophia Speltz. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of the American Legion, a member of the Rolllingstone St. Nicholas Society, and was active in Boy Scout work.
Survivors are: his wife; two sons, David, Exelsior, Minn., and Roch, at home; three daughters, Mrs. James Reisdorf, and Miss Karol Arnoldy, Winona, and Mrs. Duane Andrist, Pine Island, Minn., four grandchildren; two brothers, Bernard, Waseca, Minn., and Francis, Aberdeen, S. D., and two sisters, Mrs. Al Rivers, Rollingstone, and Mrs. Norbert Rivers, Rochester, Minn.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Rollingstone, the Rev. Leland Smith officiating, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday from 1 to 3 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the church.
