He married(2) Mary Ann Whitacre 9 October 1973 in Frederick Co., Virginia.^[3]

He died 18 October 1976 in Newark, Ohio. ^{[4] [5]}He is buried in Trenton Cemetery in Sunbury, Ohio.^[6]
