Source 1: ARNOTT, George Orr

George was born on June 17, 1925 in St. Catherines, Ontario. He enlisted in the Army on June 2, 1942. He served with the Royal Canadian Dragoons in the United Kingdom, Continental Europe, and the Central Mediterranean area during World War II. He was discharged in December 3, 1946 and was awarded the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, the Defence Medal, the Italy Star, and the France and Germany Star. He was a member of Talbot Trail Legion Branch 613 for over 40 years. George passed away in August 2008.
