Robert LeRoy Arnow, son of Robert Coles Arnow and Meta May (Buxton) Arnow, born in Stamford, Fairfield County, Connecticut, 11 October 1909; died at St. Joseph's Hospital in Stamford, Fairfield County, Connecticut, 29 January 1964, age 54; buried in Long Ridge Union Cemetery, Stamford, 1 February 1964; mechanic, small business owner; married about 1942, Florence Amelia Haviland.

ROBERT L. ARNOW.
Robert LeRoy Arnow of 236 Briar Brae Rd., died suddenly Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Born in Stamford, Oct. 11, 1909, he was the son of Robert C. and Meta M. Buxton Arnow.
Mr. Arnow was proprietor of Arnow's Garage, Long Ridge Rd. He had worked as a mechanic for the Bordon Co. in Stamford where his father was head mechanic. He later transferred to the Borden plant in White Plains, N. Y., where he was head mechanic. He opened his own garage in Stamford in the '40s. Mr. Arnow attended Stamford High School and in his youth was active as a player in the Stamford Community Football League.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Florence Haviland Arnow; a daughter, Mrs. Ernest Walker of Alpena, Mich.; a granddaughter, Amber C. Walker, also of Alpena, and a brother, Guy B Arnow of Stamford.
Funeral services will be at Bouton & Reynolds Funeral Home, 545 Bedford St., Saturday at 2 pm. The Rev. Charles H. Fricke of Long Ridge Congregational Church, and the Rev. William Thomas of Turn-of-River Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Long Ridge Union Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 9 and Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9.
