Braden Aro, 46, of Livingston, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, in Livingston, Montana.
Braden was born July 18, 1958 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the son of Richard S. Aro and Barbara C. (Howard) Aro.
He spent his early life and attended schools in several locations, including Fort Collins, Colorado, where he graduated from high school in 1976. After working for a time as a carpenter, Braden enrolled a the University of California in Davis, California and her later attended Montana State University in Bozeman.
Braden had made his home in Livingston since 1984 and for several years, had worked locally as a carpenter. He assisted in the construction of sets for locally filmed movies, including "A River Runs Through It."
Braden majored in photography and cinematography at MSU and had done extensive filming on a mountain goat documentary in the Crazy Mountains. Some of his still photographs have also been published in Montana Magazine. He enjoyed art, including painting and drawing, and loved the outdoors, especially fishing, like his grandfather.
Survivors include his parents, Richard S. Aro and Barbara C. (Howard) Aro, of Bozeman and Lame Deer, Montana; a brother Justin Aro of Bozeman; his maternal grandfather, Don D Howard of Ft. Collins, Colorado and a nephew, Logan Aro of Spring Hill, Montana.
A celebration of Braden's life and in his memory was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, 2004 at Franzen-Davis Funeral Home in Livingston.
A private family graveside committal will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Burial date 9-24-2004.
If so desired, memorials in Braden's name, and as a tribute to his dog, Tara, may be made to the Humane Society of Park County, Livingston, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
