Brian Aiken Aroa married June Lynette Woods.
His wife June Lynette Aroa (1940 - 10 December 1971) was a machinist, but died very young and is listed as being married, and living at 83 Wallace Place, New Plymouth at the time of her death..
She was cremated at the Awanui Cemetery.  (10 Dec 1971 aged 31)
He was an industrial designer, and acquired patents for hot air hand dryers.

AROA, Brian Aiken. Suddenly at Taranaki Base Hospital, New Plymouth, on Sunday February 7, 2016, aged 77 years. Loved partner of Ettie Burt, loved father and father in law of Russell and Kim, Dianne and Paul, Craig and Sarah, and Tina, and loved poppa to his 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Son of the late Arthur and Phyllis Aroa, brother and brother in law of Coral and Tony Collins, Avon and Ted Grace, and loved uncle to his niece and nephew.
Special thanks from the family to all the staff at Taranaki Base Hospital A&E and ICU Departments for their compassionate care. Donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and can be left in the Chapel foyer. Messages to Aroa family C/- PO Box 4016, New Plymouth. 4340. A service for Brian will be held in the Chapel of W. Abraham 366 Devon Street East, New Plymouth, on Thursday February 11, 2016, at 2pm followed by private cremation.
