Biography

Allie is the daughter of Daniel Arrington and Minervia Smith. ^[1]

Powell married Allie Blanche Arrington ( daughter of Green Daniel Arringtin and Marnevia Smith) 1-6-1917 in Westfield, Surry County North Carolina at her father's home and they were married by her uncle, Christopher Columbus "C. C." Arrington, who was a Baptist minister. Powell was a farmer. They had 8 children that lived to adulthood, Albert Raymond Snody( married Beverly Dahl), Bernie Otis (married Bobby Jo Stone), Granville Clay Snody (married Mary Jane Payne) , Reva May Snody (married Glenn Reeves Haymore), Anna Francis Snody (married Basil Erastus Jessup), Franklin Roosevelt Snody (married Dorothy Louise Hawks), Earl Ray Snody (married Nora Brewer), Moir Edward "Jack" Snody (married Bonnie Faye Cook), they also had one child born and died 2-15-1923 no name known.
