Biography

Telitha was born on 24 Jan 1818 in Burke County, NC. She was married about 1837, using the ages of her children with Jacob Hood. ^{[citation needed]}

In 1840 Burke Co NC census, South side of Catawba River, West of North Fork they were living with Males Under 5 2 (her sons Alfred and William) and 20-29 1; Females 29-29 1, 50-59 1. They were listed near her father, William Drury Arrowood's family.

In 1850 Burke Co, NC census her name was written as Delitha 32. The couple had 6 children living in their home.

She passed away some time after 1856. This death date is concluded using the age of her daughter, Elizabeth, 5 years old. No burial location or death certificate has been located.
