"Canon Richard Staines Arrowsmith rector of Seale, Surrey 1921-1945 and proctor in convocation of the Diocese of Guildford, died at his home on Wednesday at the age of 74. He was examining chaplain to the bishop of Guildford in 1934 and an honary canon of the catherdral that year".
