Marguerite Ludivine Arsement was born on 16 September 1760 in Bretagne, France, daughter of Pierre Arsement and Marie Josephe Hebert. She was baptized the next day in Saint-Suliac, Bretagne (now Ille-et-Vilaine), France. [1]
In 1785, her parents and siblings Marie, Victoire, Perine, Guillaume, Julie and Françoise immigrated to Louisiana aboard the ship La Ville d'Archangel. Marguerite was on the list of passengers with her family, but the debarkation list notes that the eldest daughter did not embark.
She married Louis Vevoy before the 1793 census in France. [2]
Marguerite died in France.

On list of arrivals at St-Malo in 1759, says born 1 Oct 1760 [sic]. On 1762 census - Saint-Suliac, born 1760. On 1772 census - St. Malo, age 11 years. On 1793 census - St. Malo, a "journalière" or day-worker. She married before the 1793 census.
